If your original Shock / Strut is surrounded by a Coil Spring, replacing just the bare cartridge may require a Coil Spring Compressor to safely remove and reuse the spring and mount (not included) from your original assembly.
ACDelco GM Original Equipment Struts are similar to standard shock absorbers, but have the added function of maintaining part of the suspension design. These original equipment struts are the GM-recommended replacement for your vehicle's original components and have been manufactured to fit your specific GM vehicle, providing the same performance, durability, and service life you expect from General Motors.
Features
- Provide excellent ride and handling
- GM-recommended replacement part for your GM vehicle's original factory component
- Offering the quality, reliability, and durability of GM OE
- Manufactured to GM OE specification for fit, form, and function
What are Regular Production Option (RPO) Codes?
- Three character codes that designate various features/options on your vehicle
- Listed on the Service Parts Identification sticker (typically located in the glove box compartment or near the spare tire), or found by scanning a QR code on 2018 and up GM vehicles (located at the bottom of the driver side door pillar)
If the part listing designates an RPO code, look on your Service Parts sticker or scan your QR code prior to ordering to verify the part is correct for your application.
