Motorcraft® Premium Automatic Transmission Fluid is a premium-quality fluid recommended by Ford Motor Company for use in the AW F21 6-speed transmission. It has unique frictional characteristics specific to this transmission. It has excellent high temperature thermal and oxidative stability, and protects against transmission shudder.
Do not use for applications recommending MERCON® ULV, MERCON® LV, MERCON® V, MERCON® SP, Type F fluid, Continuously Variable Chain Type Transmission Fluid or FNR5 Automatic Transmission Fluid.
